Woodrow Wilson, Founders Address, Swarthmore College, 1923

Colonel Dave Hunt of “Tough Talk with Colonel Hunt” has a short piece concerning a recent visit to Walter Reed Army Medical Center (click here to read the article). In view of the ongoing Joshua Sparling “death wish” card, this is a refreshing recap of a day spent with America’s finest - its wounded warriors. Today is the 64th anniversary of the day that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt said would live in infamy. As approximatley 2,000 WWII veterans die each day, it is fitting that we should pause to honor these heros. Likewise, it is equally fitting that we should honor a new generation of war heros, the men and women doing the fighting and the dying in Iraq and Afghanistan. May the Lord protect them and shield them from harm.
