Doug Phillips, The Church, Ligonier, and Iraq

Seems hyper-patriarch and ecclesiastical tyrant Doug Phillips is at it again. Besides what appears to be a direct cause of one of Mr. and Mrs. Epstein’s children being barred from a Wheeler Wedding, Phillips and his fellow cultists shamefully treated two guests attempting to visit Boerne Christian Assembly (the term “Christian” is used quite loosely in this case). Talk about an ego on steroids!

Meanwhile, over at Worldview Weekend, the folks there have posted a video that tells us Why American Churches are In Trouble.

In Florida, Dr. R.C. Sproul finally fired Tim Dick. Unfortunately, it’s probably a little to late to resuscitate Ligonier Ministries.

The writers for US Cav feature a story on their blog that originally appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer titled Finish the Job in Iraq.

Tim’s Folly Finally Flattens the Dick

Filed under: Ligonier, Smokin' Crack, Sic Semper Tyrannis — Moderator @ 10:08 pm

CONGRATULATIONS are in order for Frank Vance, Jennifer Epstein, and Ministry Watchman.

Although the Watchman terms the firing of Tim Dick “too little, too late,” it is obvious these bloggers brought enough exposure to the corruption under Tim Dick’s “Reign of Terror,” that his father-in-law had no choice but to let him go.

Again, kudos to our brother and sister Christian bloggers who made this a reality, and may the body be edified by the results — results that include validation of Frank’s and Epstein’s valorous efforts, despite the personal attacks by other Christians.
